Oscar Nominations 2011 begged by AR Rahman.
The 83rd Academy Award nominations are announced with AR Rahman bagged 2 Oscar nominations once again. He is nominated for his music composed in "Danny Boyle’s film 127 Hours" as well as for the original song "If I Rise".
127 Hours was also nominated for the best film.
The film is a reticent success in North America with an average of $11 million gross.
